This page is designed to help demonstrate the differences between the older (2nd generation) Crowbox and the latest (3rd generation) Crowbox. Pictures are provided, along with a few key physical features of each version that can help illustrate the difference between the two machines. 2nd Generation Crowbox
This is the older (now depreciated) 2nd generation Crowbox:
Major distinguishing physical features of the older 2nd generation Crowbox (These features are not present on the 3rd generation Crowbox)
- Removable door on side of the machine
- White funnel/ramp assembly at front of machine (thin styrene construction)
- Square hole in the center of the perch on top of the machine
3rd Generation Crowbox
This is the newer, version 3 model:
Major distinguishing physical features of the new 3rd generation Crowbox: (These features are not present on the 2nd generation Crowbox)
- Transparent, solid acrylic basket assembly at front of machine
- Removable coin drawer at front of machine, below basket assembly.
- Seamless perch plate at top of machine (no center hole)
- Seamless side/rear panels (no removable side door on this version)
